Last month Alysia reviewed the L’Oreal Sublime Radiance Cleansing Oil (which I’ve also become a fan of) so she decided to test out some of the L’Oreal Sublime Fresh Cleansers too.

Recently, we reviewed L’Oréal’s other cleanser, Sublime Radiance Cleansing Oil. It received a lot of buzz and curiosity. I hope some of you went out and bought it. One reader mentioned that she was very interested in trying out a cleansing oil but wanted to follow up with a gel cleanser to further clean her face.
The Sublime Fresh line includes three products in different forms – foam, gel and cloths. I got the chance to review two of the three. All products are mainly for normal-to-combination skin. The line contains Salicylic Acid that provides antibacterial properties to help purify and leaves skin feeling fresh and clean. Both the gel and foam can be used in the morning and evening to remove traces of makeup and impurities.
Sublime Fresh Purifying Foaming Cleanser Mousse:
I like to use the foam during my morning shower. Since it contains no soap or alcohol, it doesn’t leave my face feeling tight and dry.
When you apply the foam to damp skin, the foam forms millions of bubbles to lift any leftover traces of makeup that may have not been removed the night before.
Sublime Purifying Gel Wash:
Since this gel cleanser contains some alcohol, I like to use this at night so I can load up on a rich night cream after.
This product differs from the foaming cleanser because it deeply cleanses out pores – perfect for us girls who tend to break out often.
The foam and gel wash smell light and fresh and can be used on your face and eye area (although I would be very careful around the eye area when using the gel wash). While I truly enjoy using both, if I had to pick one for you to purchase and try out, I would say the foaming mousse. I love the light texture and more importantly how easy it was to use and how smooth my skin felt after. The foam would be a great to use after using the cleansing oil that from the previous post.
What texture of cleanser do you prefer to use?
