“Biotherm Water Lovers” is a global platform that is dedicated to protecting and preserving the world’s waters. June 8th is actually World Oceans Day and has been celebrated since 1992! There will be more than 400 events in 70 different countries celebrating and acting for oceans’ future this year alone.
Living in Toronto I don’t have access to an ocean which is why whenever I’m on vacation a place with an ocean usually tops my list.

The water is just so transforming. Being near the ocean fills me with such a sense of well being and relaxation. It’s devastating to think about all the damage we are causing the ocean and ocean life.

It’s definitely something we all take for granted don’t you think? We need to keep our Earth safe; and a huge part of this includes our oceans. I’m glad to be able to help spread the word about the Biotherm Water Lovers initiatives.
For the third year in a row, Biotherm Water Lovers will be supporting Mission Blue whose mission is to provide the same protection to the ocean that is afforded to land. Since 2012, Biother Water Lovers has raised more than 350,000 euros for Mission Blue thanks to the proceeds from limited charity editions of their most popular skin care products. This year, for World Oceans Day 2014, Biotherm is asking for support on two campaigns:
1. Starting June 8th and for a whole week, if you post a beautiful photos inspired by water tagging @biothermcanada with the hashtag #waterlovers, Biotherm Water Lovers will donate $1 to Mission Blue. The photos will be curated in an online gallery celebrating water from all over the world.
2. During the weekend of June 8th, for every Biotherm online purchase (regardless of the amount!), Biotherm Water Lovers will donate $10 to Mission Blue. Also, if you use the code “torontobeauty” you will receive a bonus gift! (20 mL Aquasource Gel; 7 mL Aquasource Deep Serum; and 30 mL Biosource Lotion)
