For me, Elizabeth Grant is luxurious skin care. When I think of the brand, I think exquisite marketing, beautiful packaging, high-end department stores, and long-term results. It was the kind of products you bought for long-term skin health. So when I was given the opportunity to preview the upcoming Spring + Summer collection – I jumped at it.
Here’s your first look at their upcoming collection, along with a few thoughts of my own!
Exclusives Light 99% Oil Free Moisturizer ($49.99 CAN)
There is no such thing as too much moisturization! As we know, I’m obsessed with it. Serums, night creams, day lotions – you name it! This little moisturizer comes in a cute little bottle (sometimes, packaging can be the first thing you notice), with the neatest pump system I’ve seen! You literally press down on the top for product – it’s good because you lessen the amount of bacteria that gets into your cream.
The cream itself is lightweight and practically unscented. It’s super sheer and incredibly mild – it’s good for all skin types, including sensitive. There is no harsh chemicals in this, so fingers crossed, there hopefully will be little irritation! The cream itself – smooth as silky. Definitely a luxury.
Biocollasis Complex Cell Vitality Renewal Night Serum ($100.00 CAN)
We know I love my serums! Having problems with your skin elasticity? This product will put the snap right back into your skin. Calling upon ingreidents such as Collagen I, III, and IV and Mediterranean myrtle extract, you’ve got a powerful product that aides with the anti-degredation of skin tissues and elimination of the first signs of aging.
The packaging of this bottle is again, very sleek. The product itself is a thick gel-like formula. If you use this product at night, EG claims that you’ll allow the natural repair mechanisms to kick in, as thats when cellular regeneration occurs. Interesting fact, will have to keep you updated!
The Socializer’s Dare to Bare Arm Care Smoothing Exfoliator ($26.00 CAN)
Okay, this product (and the next) are the two I was most interested in. You know those tiny red bumps that can pop up on the back of your arms, for no other reason than to be annoying? Elizabeth Grant has a solution – and it’s simply buffing and soothing your arms to perfection.
This exfoliant will help clear away the dead skin cells that can sometimes clog up the pores on our arms, causing unsightly bumps. It even claims that if used regularly, it’ll produce a more toned arm look! Thankfully, the box comes with a buffer tool – all you have to do is apply the thick cream (it has small beads in it to aide with exfoliation) and away you go. Look for my own review on this product soon!
The Socializer’s Dare to Bare Arm Care Smoothing Lotion ($28.00 CAN)
The sister product to the above. This lotion goes on directly after application of the exfoliator. Used together, it’s supposed to greatly reduce the look of those unsightly red spots on the back of your arms.
Again, vastly unscented. I’m sensing a theme with the Elizabeth Grant products…
Collagen Re-Inforce Eye Pads with CoQ10 (6 pack) ($40.00 CAN)
These pads are an intense collagen treatment – Elizabeth Grant has harnessed the regenerating power for CoQ10. Each pad is absolutely saturated with marine collagen, CoQ10 enzyme, and Torricelumn – all powerful aides in the treatment of tired, aging, and saggy eyes.
After use, the eye area will appear smoother, tighter and younger. I cannot say I have use for these products yet, but I trust in the Elizabeth Grant skincare line. These products are a definite must try if you require them!
Heavenly Lips Lipsticks in Melon ($20.00 CAN)
The only beauty product in the new line! Coral and melon shades are making a huge comeback and Elizabeth Grant is right on trend!
This shade is absolutely divine – it’s not too ‘melony’ that it’s unwearable. It almost moonlights as a new neutral, it’s that pretty. The texture is also smooth as silk. The absolute perfect shade for the upcoming summer months and a great pop of colour for any outfit.
