You’re probably familiar with how your hair can change texture when the weather changes which is why it’s always a good idea to stay on top of your hair care routine. Alysia tests out the L’Oreal Oleotherapy hair care system to see how it helps her hair this summer.

Even though we are smack in the middle of summer, it’s always a good idea to replenish and rehydrate your hair. During winter months, the weather can cause your hair to look lifeless and feel dry and brittle. In the summer months, chlorine, sweat and over-styling your hair to look like you have beachy waves can also leave your hair to look over-processed and dry.
L’Oréal Paris released their first-ever oil-infused replenishing haircare system. It is free of sulfates and has a six flower oil blend to help restore rough damaged hair. As you know, sulfates strip hair of natural oils, so the blend of oils help recover and nurture hair back to natural health and shine.
I was given the shampoo, conditioner and deep recovery mask to test out. What I liked most about each of the three is that even though it is oil-infused, it doesn’t weight down my hair. Its non-greasy formula lathers up as I shampoo and adds moisture when I condition. After a few days of not washing and constant curling, I like to use the deep recovery mask to replenish and rehydrate my over-styled hair. It leaves my hair tangled-free, silky and fresh.
For someone who has fine hair, these products are perfect because they don’t weigh down my hair and when conditioning, we all know weighing hair down be a huge problem. The shampoo and conditioner is gentle enough to use daily, while the mask is great for a weekend treatment.
The Oleotherapy line is available at drugstores and mass market retailers across Canada and retails for $9.99 for shampoos/conditioners and $14.99 for treatments.
Do you have any go-to products to keep your hair in tip top shape?
