The One of a Kind Christmas show was held this year between November 22nd to December 2nd at the Direct Energy center. As Elaine pointed out in the original post here, it’s one of Toronto’s favourite hotspots in terms of locating unique and distinct items in the GTA area. Held twice a year, this was the first time I had ever attended! Here’s a quick roundup of the items I purchased below.
Forewarning, I’ve misplaced my camera with all my original One of a Kind show photographs on it. Therefore, I’ll be using media photographs! Still, the products are magnificent and speak for themselves.
If you’re looking for a recap of some of the booths, be sure to check out Elaine’s post here!
Ear Curls was one of the first booths that immediately caught my eye! I instantly fell in love with the way these earrings slink dramatically up your ear.
Inspired by the look of ‘multiple piercings’ without the commitment, Ear Curls are a single earring that has a backing that secures the curl to the ear. It’s completely painless, yet provides such a dramatic statement.
What I love the most about these Ear Curls is that they are available in multiple sizes – since everyone’s ear sizes are different, it’s a perfect way to customize the earring to your ear. Mini, Small, Medium, Large and detachable drops are currently available. Also available are a variety of colours and hues – from birthstones to pearls, from silver to gold. All earrings are made with sterling silver.
I picked up two pairs of Small Ear Curls in Freshwater Pearls and Blue Pearl. Ear Curls are available online here, and start at $30.00. All purchases are completely refundable and returnable.

I’ve never been one for wraps – I’ve always found them fussy. Until now. Chloe Angus, a brand out of Vancouver, is an eco-chic retailer that tailors to woman’s apparel (specifically, wraps). Their wraps currently come in wool and bamboo, along with a speciality collection showcasing home-grown artist Clarance Mills.
Currently, there are two sizes available, and a multitude of colours to choose from. The best thing about these wraps, and ultimately, the selling point for me, was the MILLION WAYS they can be worn (showcased in the photo at right). They can be worn as a sweater, a wrap, a drape, belted, alone, adorned with jewelery, etc. They even have a YouTube video showcasing the multitude of ways the wraps can be worn.
I purchased a Charcoal Bamboo wrap at their booth, and my mother purchased an electric blue wool wrap (sharing, anyone?). They’re available at select retailers across Canada, and online. I purchased my wrap for $129.00 CAN.

If you remember from this post, I’m having a love affair with Dot & Lil bath products. It was one of the first booths I stopped by after entering the pavillion! I had just bought their Rice Flower soap the week before, and I wanted to see if she had anything else ‘Rice Flower’ scented because the product smells THAT. GOOD. Coincidentally enough, Anne had rolled out a OOAK exclusive – Rice Flower perfume!
All of Dot & Lil’s perfumes are oil based that absorb quickly into the skin. The scent lasts all day, almost longer than any other fragrance I currently own.
If Rice Flower isn’t your scent, she has a few other scents available online for the bargain price of $20.00 CAN.
