Over the last couple of weeks the beauty world has been a buzz of announcements of new celebrity beauty ambassadors.

Lancôme has named Lisa Eldridge its new makeup creative director and she will be designing new collections, shades and products as well as creating amazing online content for the brand. I’m truly excited about this news as Lisa Eldridge is a talented makeup artist who always provides useful and accessible tips to her loyal followers via her website and videos.
Clairol has named the gorgeous Christina Hendricks the brand ambassador for Nice ‘n Easy where she will represent Clairol’s Shift a Shade campaign inspiring women to find their true colour. You’d never guess she wasn’t born a natural red head (she’s naturally a dark blonde) since it looks so natural and suits her so well. In fact Christina has been using Nice ‘n Easy since she went red and actually dyes her own hair at home!
The new Maybelline New York spokesmodel is Gigi Hadid – the 19 year old beauty has graced the runways of Marc Jacobs, Sonia Rykiel and Chanel. Believing “Confidence and Presence” makes a woman beautiful, she joins an elite team of spokemodels such as Christy Turlington and Adriana Lima. Maybelline New York is the official makeup sponsor of World Mastercard Fashion Week held here in Toronto – I wonder if Gigi will make a guest appearance at the next fashion week! (Here’s hoping!).
What are your thoughts on these celebrity beauty ambassadors?
