A while back I had the opportunity to attend the official grand opening of P&H Salon located at 77 King Street E in the East end of Downtown Toronto. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make the opening but the kind people of P&H salon asked me to come in anyway and they even booked me in for services with some of their most talented people!
I just have to tell you how nice everyone is there, even from the moment I tried to park! I was taken aback at the $25 parking fee in the parking lot next door to the salon, I called the salon to see if there was alternate parking as I’m not too familiar with the area (I’m a West End girl 😛 ) and the kind gentleman from the front desk came outside to scold the parking attendant and then tried to help me find parking elsewhere LOL! Talk about service! I ended up finding parking the next street over for a more reasonable $10.
Anyway, on to the salon itself. Considering I came to visit the salon BEFORE the grand opening, it was super duper packed! Every chair in the salon was filled and it was buzzing with clients and stylists. My first service was with Hana for eye brow threading.
A little about Hana:
I had only had my eye brows threaded once back in high school and I got a bit of a cut from it. I’ve always been pretty low maintenance with my brows just a little tweeze here and there for stray hairs so I was curious what Hana would think about my brows (apologies for the poor quality pictures – lighting was not optimum and my makeup appears to have smeared all over!).
Can you tell the difference? Yeah I couldn’t really either LOL! But Hana pointed out to me the subtle change she made and also pointed out that one eye brow was longer than the other. Who knew, maybe my eyes aren’t that “crooked” but it was my brows! The threading didn’t “hurt” but I wouldn’t say I felt nothing either. It was over with quite quickly though and no redness or irritation at all so Hana definitely knows what she’s doing!
My next stop was to get my hair done by Fay.
