This is one of my favorite skirts now. I was able to score it from Ann Taylor Factory during my trip to Florida and I had seen on many of my blogger friends such as Petite Little Girl (if others have this, please let me know so I can link to you!). Here’s how it looks on me:
Skirt: Ann Taylor Factory Lace Crochet Skirt 0P
Top: Ann Taylor 00P (purchased through Extra Petite)
Shoes: Nine West size 7
Yet again I saw this top on many blogger friends (Alterations Needed, Petite Little Girl, Really Petite – again let me know if you have this top; send me the link so I can link to you!)
Now that I’m looking at these pictures I’m thinking I should have worn a belt on top of the skirt for some added interest. Next time!
I absolutely love this skirt. It makes me feel very feminine and I like the length just above the knees – I think it’s still very professional and work appropriate. I’d like to see if I can make it look more casual as well and get more use out of it!
“Changing it up” with a sitting pose 😛
Also I do sit tests in change rooms to make sure the skirt isn’t too tight or too short.
I really love this blouse too. I have issues with anything button down because they usually have seams at the bust and do not fit me correctly and I don’t like the gaps that inevitably occur when you move around. This blouse is perfect, it actually has two panels at the front that overlap to prevent this gaping which I love. And of course the detail of the neck tie.
Me attempting and failing at a walking post à la Cee
Do you wear lace/crochet pieces to work? Any ideas on how I could make it more casual to wear on the weekends?
