{L.A. Sunrise – The Chanel Makeup Spring 2016 Collection}
The L.A. Sunrise collection for the Chanel makeup Spring 2016 season is truly something to be excited about! First off, I’m loving the bright and happy colours picked for the collection as it’s really mood lifting during the deary winter days.
The collection is meant to capture the saturated and flamboyant colours typical of a California sunrise.
My favourite product of the collection is the Sunkiss Ribbon blush palette which is exclusive to the collection. I absolutely love the combination of pinks – from peachy and coral to fuchsias and oranges. It goes on beautifully and brightens my complexion all day. Swirled over the cheeks and temples, this blush will mimic a natural looking tan.
I’m also in love with the Rouge Coco Shine in Mighty. It’s the prettiest shade of pink and glides on beautifully adding just a touch of subtle colour to the lips for a perfect everyday look.
See how pretty it is? I can’t explain how or why, but this product just makes my lips look healthier without it seeming I put much effort into it.
The Le Vernis Hypnotic Hands nail polish in Sunrise Trip is in between a blue and a purple. I haven’t tried this one out yet as this colour is a bit too dark for my personal tastes, but it sure is pretty to look at. The Stylo Yeux Waterproof eye liner in Purple Choc has been my daily liner. It’s a deep purple tone but looks great with my brown eyes 😉 there are flecks of gold too which help create a gorgeous glimmer for the eyes. It also stays put all day long which is such a bonus!
With the exception of the polish, I’ve been wearing these products daily as they’ve been so easy to work with and make me feel completely put together in a snap!
I’m pretty sure the photos don’t do this collection justice. In real life the colours just blend beautifully together. You can find the entire Chanel Makeup Spring 2016 collection at The Bay. While luxury beauty can definitely put a dent in the pocket book, this collection is just too gorgeous to pass up!
Have you seen the Chanel Makeup Spring 2016 collection yet? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
