Most of my wardrobe is fairly neutral but I do have some bright pieces that I pair with my neutrals.
I fell IN LOVE with this pink Banana Republic dress from the BR outlet and I would say it’s the brightest article of clothing I own. It just makes me feel happy when I put it on and I decided to make the look even brighter by pairing it with a contrasting coloured purse:
Gah, I totally forgot to put shoes on when I took this picture. It would’ve made it look nicer
I wore this out on the weekend for lunch with the family. I was inspired to try one of those side swept hair do’s but I’m terrible at doing hair. It really does have a life of it’s own! I took a picture anyway so I could see for myself how it looked. Lucky I was going for the messy kind of look LOL. You wouldn’t believe how many bobby pins I actually used to keep it in place!
I guess new hair styles is something else I need to work on!
This is very vibrant and beautiful! Perfect for that contest though I still love your bright florals, very bold!

lovee the color of this dress!
I really like the fit and color of that dress on you. And whatever you did with your hair, me likey too!
Love the color, I think I might have the same wrap dress! But I haven’t worn it as often because I still need to hem it a few inches shorter…I should probably get to that! =P
I wear a lot of neutrals too, but I love having colorful items to make things more fun! =)
Such a great dress! This is my favorite item you’ve posted so far! But I am a color lover, so I’m a bit biased. =)
Curly hair does have a life of it’s own! I gave up on trying to control mine a long time ago…it just does what it wants and we coexist much more peacefully these days.
Agree with Diya … fuschia pink and lime green is so Barbie, and I am a fan. I like this color against your skintone, too. I own a few fuschia pieces as well and they are wardrobe favorites!
The dress looks great on you! I’m normally scared of super bright colors and tend to buy neutral things that I think would go with ‘everything’. But the result is that my wardrobe is kind of boring, so I’m starting to warm up to venturing out of my comfort zone.
fuchsia pink and lime green…such a delicious combo!! loooove it!
