There are so many products out there that claim to be anti aging and can help reduce wrinkles. Since I have oily skin I’ve been blessed that wrinkles haven’t been a huge issue for me but as I’m now in my mid 30’s it’s definitely becoming more of a concern.
My mom is still a huge fan of Vichy LiftActiv Serum 10 and I have to say I hope my skin will look as good as hers when I’m her age!
{A Wrinkle Cream That Works}
The new LiftActiv Advanced Concentrate boasts a formulation breakthrough where Retinol (the popular and effective wrinkle fighter) meets “LR2412” which targets vertical wrinkles due to facial expressions.
I’ve used Retinol (Retin-A) before as it is proven effective for acne and dark spots too – however since I’m extremely sensitive around the mouth area I get really red and peel even when I used it sparingly with moisturizer.
I’ve been using the LiftActiv Advanced Concentrate for a few weeks now and I think I’m seeing results in my forehead area. The lines in that area are definitely less visible to me and I am hopefully preventing them from becoming those hard set deeper lines.
My smile lines (called Nasolabial folds) – the ones that run vertically from the sides of the nose to the corners of the upper lips – have become more noticeable and darker lately. So far I haven’t seen a huge difference while using this product in that area but I’m going to keep longer and hope that I see results there too!
Normally, products containing retinol should only be used at night as it makes the skin very sensitive to the sun. However, this product is formulated to be used both day and night since the “LR2412” + Hyaluronic Acid which aids with the wrinkle issue but also hydrates and soothes the skin making it less sensitive and optimally moisturized. I would though still make sure to wear adequate sunscreen protection during the day (whether using a retinol product or not).
While I can’t speak for deeper, more prominent wrinkles if you have some fine lines that you are getting concerned about I would recommend trying this product out for a few weeks. I think you’ll be pleased with the results! Check it out in drugstores for $49.50 (30 mL) and let me know what you think!
