If you haven’t made plans yet for the weekend you may want to check out The Green Living Show set to take place this weekend at the Direct Energy Centre.
Every single product and service you will see at the Green Living Show has been carefully chosen to reflect international environmental and health reporting standards. There will be thousands of eco-friendly products and services all under one roof and you will also be able to check out eco-fashion and beauty experts at the main stage!
Besides just beauty and fashion you can check out the culinary scene with local foods, beers and wines; yoga and fitness activities; an eco-kids zone; and test out cars and bikes! There’s something for everyone!
Of course, I’m drawn to the beauty and fashion aspects of the event…here are some products that have caught my eye.
I’m always on the lookout for new organic makeup. Sappho Organic Cosmetics (booth 1436) was founded by JoAnn Fowler who has been a makeup artist in the television and film industries since 1989.
I was introduced to MarieNatie (booth 1445) last year when I was able to try out some of their products.
I first heard about Tata Harper (booth 1237/1440) through Pure+Simple as they now carry this line too. Founded by Tata Harper she believes that people should not sacrifice their health to look and feel beautiful!
Botany Co Bamboo Sunglasses are a great way to be eco-chic everyday! They are sustainable and lightweight and look amazing too!
Nicole Bridger is a Vancouver based fashion line for women who want to look effortlessly chic while maintaining a commitment to Earth and its people.
