On March 18th special event was held for the launch of L’Oreal Sublime Mousse at the L’Oreal Academy in Downtown Toronto.
I was lucky enough to be invited by my friend Oliva of The Cheap Girl who received an exclusive invite to the event.
Me and Oliva
We were ushered to the Lobby area of the L’Oreal Academy where we waited to have our names checked off the guest list and signed waivers allowing L’Oreal to post our pictures on Facebook.
As soon as we walked in the atmosphere was exciting! Pink decorations everywhere and beautiful ladies navigating us throughout the venue.
Even the food and drinks were pink!
My favorite was dessert of course, some kind of chocolate and strawberry mousse! (I even took an extra for the road 😉 )
There was also cotton candy, but sadly I missed out on that!
Now on to the presentation of the night.
Sonia Kovacic
Sonia Kovacic gave a brief presentation about the history of hair colour. Did you know that the process of at home hair colouring has remained essentially unchanged for many years. Enter the innovative formula of L’Oreal Sublime Mousse which is massaged into the hair just as a shampoo would be.
Hair expert Eric Del Monaco continued the presentation with a live demo of how to apply the hair colour.
Models then walked the runway displaying the various hair colour shades available.
The presentation ended with an exclusive preview of the L’Oreal Sublime Mousse commercial.
I unfortunately didn’t get shots of this one as I was distracted by twitter (oops!)
But I did get photos of behind the scenes footage of spokes person Evangeline Lilly (a proud Canadian girl!!).
So here’s why I was distracted by twitter:
