With customers becoming more and more product savvy it’s important to educate yourself and make sure you are aware of all the choices you have out there when it comes to products.
I test out MANY products and sometimes I too am guilty of blindly trusting the marketing behind them and I believe this is the goal of Clean Care – to make shopping for beauty products simpler and easier.
There are many “buzz” words that go around in the beauty and skin care world (BB cream, CC Cream, Argon Oil, Silcones, Parabens, Sulfates etc) and it can all get really confusing.
Clean Care is a “stamp of approval” for safer beauty and personal care products. They are concerned with some of the harmful chemicals that may be present in many products so they would like to take the guess work and stress out of it for you so you can make an informed decision.
While I do appreciate products that are natural and organic and free from any harmful ingredients I know that not everything natural out there is necessarily good for you and the same goes the other way – not all synthetic ingredients are bad for you. I believe that companies should be open and transparent so that the consumers can make informed decisions. We all know this is not the case so that is where Clean Care comes in.
They have actually just launched and welcomed their first member Marie Natie who I reviewed last year.
You can read a great interview with Mary Yang of Marie Natie on the Clean Care members page.
I think a site like this will be really useful for not only consumers but for brands that meet the Clean Care criteria to get the word out there and I’m curious to see which other brands will be able to join.
I’ll be keeping an eye out for sure!
What are you thoughts on Clean Care and their initiatives?
