As you know Pure + Simple is one of my favourite brands and companies in Toronto not only because of their great products and services but because of their dedication to bettering the world. I asked Ashley to tell you about their latest initiative.
If you’re an avid reader of this blog, you know of Elaine’s love affair with local skincare company Pure + Simple. A pioneer in the clean and all-natural skincare and beauty product market, it just makes sense that a company such as this would care about our impact on the environment. Let’s read how Pure + Simple is partnering with a local organization to help reverse climate change.
Pure + Simple have teamed up with local organization Toronto350.org to raise community awareness on climate change. Why is this so important to both? It’s immensely important that we leave our planet a beautiful, healthy place for our children and our children’s children. We can leave our footprints on the Earth through our effort to save it, rather than through waste, toxins and pollution.
In order to get this message across, Pure + Simple and Toronto350.org present “DO THE MATH”, an event dedicated to increase public awareness on the impacts of climate change and how we, as individuals and businesses, can help make a change for the better. Presented at the event will be a feature documentary, also called “DO THE MATH”, that hopes to break down the climate change problem to simple mathematical statistics that will blow your mind.
