Happy 2011 Everyone! 🙂
This is a long overdue post that I have been meaning to put together. Way back in November I was able to attend a Beauty Board Event hosted by Stephanie Daga of Blush Pretty. I had never been to one of these events before so I didn’t know what to expect but it sure sounded like a lot of fun! Stephanie and I had also been chatting a lot on Twitter about the event too so I was really excited to attend.
My friend and I arrived early so a few last minute things were being set up but on the way we had the pleasure of meeting Joy from the Makeup Junkie who would be doing make up demos throughout the event. Joy is so sweet and friendly – the three of us kind of bonded after entering through the wrong side of the building and getting lost on our way to the event LOL :P.
The event was set up in stations – each brand had an area with products set up ready for us to try. Stephanie provided us with review sheets so we could easily review each of the products we were testing out. Now seriously, how fun does that sound?!?
On top of that, the atmosphere was amazing. Great music, amazing food and the excitement of all the ladies there was incredible.

My friend and I were also lucky enough to win several of the prizes (oh yeah, did I mention there were FABULOUS prizes???) including the grand prize which was a huge gift basket feature ALL the brands from the event! Every attendee also left with a swag bag full of goodies.

I have already tried out many of the products and will be doing reviews in upcoming posts. Perhaps I will see some of you at the next Beauty Board? To get a better look at event check out this video by Justin Borja.
