Well it looks like spring has finally sprung and we can all celebrate now! Makeup lovers everywhere will agree that there’s no better way to celebrate a new season than with playing with pretty palettes. Laura invited her sisters over for girls day; and of course makeovers were involved! Check out the look Laura created with the Clarins Garden Escape Palette.
*****
A few weeks ago my sisters came by and we spent the day together bonding. What do we girls do when we get together? Play with makeup of course!
I used my youngest sister as my model to try out the new Clarins Garden Escape Eye Palette. This gorgeous palette can be used wet and dry; for this look I opted to try the colours dry.
- the lightest pink shade was used all over the lid;
- the taupe/brown colour was used in the crease to create soft depth without being smokey;
- for a little pop or colour I used the darkest green shadow on the top lash line as an eyeliner;
The liner looked absolutely gorgeous on her, complimenting her eye so nicely especially when the light caught the green flecks. The eye shadows went on very smooth without being powdery; they feel super creamy too and have just the right amount of color payoff to create soft everyday looks.
If you haven’t tried this beautiful palette I absolutely recommend that you do; plus the packaging is super cute, it reminds me of vintage cosmetic compacts. The palette retails for $44.00 and can be found at your nearest Clarins counter.
What do you think of this look? Would you try it out yourself?
