Spring is officially here and we’ll be dealing with strange weather for the next few weeks. To help you ease into warmer weather I’ve got a great little giveaway up for grabs courtesy of Covergirl and Olay!
I received a box full of 2015 launches from some amazing brands (all in stores now!) and these three items were the ones I was most excited about.
A red lipstick is the perfect way to lift your spirits and I can’t wait to wear this shade called “Succulent Cherry” by Covergirl. If you’re still scared of wearing a red lip read all the reasons why you should embrace it on my BeautyDesk.com article
April showers brings on the start of the humidity in the air! This is the time of year I start experimenting mattifiers and primers that will help keep shine under control. This Olay Fresh Effects Clear Skin Mattifier looks promising as it also reduces redness and pores!
Although shine is a concern this time of year that still doesn’t mean I can forget about moisture! It’s important to keep skin hydrated and not dry it out or it can actually become more oily! This Olay Regenerist Luminous Overnight Mask is a gel moisturizer which means it won’t go on too heavy and it will let my congested breathe through the night!
My friends at Covergirl and Olay want to gift one of my lucky Canadian readers all three of these products to help jump start your spring beauty routine!
Just fill out the rafflecopter form below.
Good luck!

That’s great, but, since you’re so young and gorgeous – stay that way – how? Always wear sunscreen 365 days a year! Dermatologists have proven that the number one contributor to ageing skin read: age spots, hyper-pigmentation AND wrinkles – is: you guessed it – sun damage – NO.1 – so if you do anything faithfully in your skin care routine: it should be this – wear an SPF min. 30 every single day, no matter the season or the weather – those UVA and UVB rays are skin destroyers!
Spring routine doesn’t change too much. I wear sunscreen 365 days a year – inside or outside, raining or sunny – all you younger girls – listen up! your skin will love you and look great when you’re in your fifties like I am.
I always wear a mask moisturizer at night during winter because my skin is so dry, however, when the weather warms up, eventually, I like to switch out to a lighter weight gel-type mask – every night! Red lipstick, have not worn it since my thirties – I seem to remember it was a Chanel one and it looked great! Maybe it’s time to get brave and dive into the red!
I agree with you about the sunscreen! I wear it every day of the year – it’s just part of my regular routine!
Smart girl! Your skin will look super good when you are older – best thing you can do for your lovely skin!
I use sunscreen instead of skin moisturizer.
I start to use a sunscreen as I am out of doors more often
I’m going to annoy everyone, but read my posts above yours – wear your sunscreen 365 days a year, if you want to look good when you get older. Promise?
