The braid trend isn’t going anywhere! To experiment with some braided hairstyles, I called one of my best friends (Jess) over because I need to be honest — my hair is not the most manageable. Her hair effortlessly confirms to any hairstyle! We decided to use some Kerastase products along with a booklet on how to do some easy braided hairstyles.
{Easy Braided Hairstyles featuring Kerastase Products}
We both used Kerastase products while following the easy step-by-step guide included. The one I chose for her hair was the Braided Chignon.
How to create:
- Split your hair in half and create two braids at the back of your head
- Tie each braid with an elastic
- Knot the braids together to form a loop
- Knot them again
- Fold the knotted braids upward and secure with bobby pins
- Spritz with Kerastase k laque couture
It is fancy enough to be worn at a wedding and effortless enough to be worn to the supermarket. Here is the end result — thank you Jess for being my model!
Jess chose the Flower Power Fringe Braid for me. Hers was the real challenge considering my hair is very coarse and heavy.
How to create:
- Part your hair far to one side
- Grab a section of hair near the part and separate into 3 sections
- French braid across your forehead, only adding more hair to the braid every other time
- Braid toward the middle of the back of your head and then down
- Secure with an elastic, finish with k laque couture
If you would like that sought after messy look I suggest adding in a dollop of the k boucles d’art and k curl fever and running your hands through your hair prior to creating the looks while crunching and bunching a little. I love these products because they do not leave any residue and your hair looks product free when you use them.
