Hard Candy Cosmetics is one of those really fun and trendy brands that I honestly didn’t really think suited my lifestyle; but I was recently introduced to some of their new products and I have found them to be great fun and everyday editions to my beauty arsenal!
Available exclusively at Walmart the Hard Candy Cosmetics brand has something for everyone.
The “all glossed up” hydrating lip stain is so easy to apply and perfect for quick touch ups. Chubby lip crayons like this have become my favourite product since they are so convenient!
The “mod quad” eyeshadow palette is a fun and pretty collection of baked shadows that will create a sexy and sultry look. If you use them dry you can create a nice and soft smokey look but if you want to step it up a notch and try out the metallic shadow trend, moisten the applicator and apply for a whole new look!
The “cheeks and balances” highlight and contour stick is one of those products you can have a lot of fun with! With just one swipe (and some blending of course!) you can highlight and contour your cheeks all in one step. You can of course use both colours individually and apply with your fingers or a brush.
If you’re feeling a little more daring and want a new take on the bold lip, try out the “ombre lipstick” trend. This trend is about applying a darker colour on the outside of your lips and filling in with a lighter colour for a multidimensional effect. Hard Candy cosmetics makes this easy for you as you can get this look in one step – without trying to find colours that work together and carrying around multiple products!
At first I was intimidated by the colour but when I swatched it you could see how the colours really do look nice together! And when on the lips the colours just blend into each other really nicely.
Another product I really like and have been using often is the “so baked contour trio”. I love that in contains a bronzer, a blush and a highlighter all in one convenient package! I’m also a fan of the matte bronzer as sometimes you don’t want the shimmer that most bronzers provide.
Do any of these fun products catch your eye?
