Givenchy has a new fragrance to add to their Ange ou Démon (Angel or Devil) collection. The company previously started with Ange ou Démon in 2006. It then released Le Secret Eau de parfum in 2009 with the eau de toilette in 2013. In between, Givenchy came out with Le Secret Elixir. If you find that confusing, you’re not the only one. Each fragrance is a different combination of floral, woodsy, and oriental notes. Now, Givenchy has added Ange ou Démon Le Parfum (75mL spray) and its accord Illicite (4mL accord) to the family.
While each one has different notes, all of these fragrances have one thing in common – they can all become your signature scent. Each one is pretty unique because they all create a balanced dynamic between two opposing scents. Some start with a sweet, romantic scent and end with something a lot darker. Others are fresh and lively and end on a sexier note. This latest addition starts masculine and ends with a powdery finish. It’s a nice combination of a lot of scents. The additional accord is predominantly vanilla and can be a nice accompaniment to the main event. It’s also a nice scent to wear on its own, putting a little bit on your pulse points.
Givenchy’s Ange ou Démon Le Parfum et son Accord Illicite were released on April 15, 2015 for $127 and are available exclusively at Hudson’s Bay.
