Beauty brands are constantly coming out with new mascaras. If you pay attention you’ll see for yourself just how many new and innovative mascaras come out each year! 3 famous mascaras by Lancôme have stood the test of time. For the 10th anniversary of the iconic Hypnôse line they have launched their newest and most unique mascara yet: Grandiôse.
The Lancôme Grandiôse Mascara has uber sexy packaging doesn’t it? I love how you can see the Lancôme rose right through the lid. The real innovation here is in the brush!
What issues do you have with mascara? My lashes are very fine and hidden so I often find mascara difficult to apply to the inner corners of my eyes; also I tend to get mascara on the top of my lids and have to wipe it off a cotton swab. This “swan neck” was designed to make putting on mascara easier by adapting to every eye shape which allows you to access all the lashes – from corner to corner and from root to tip. Because of the curve of the brush you avoid hitting your cheeks or nose when getting ready in a hurry in the mornings.
Even the bristles themselves have been specifically designed with these issues in mind. A combination of short and long bristles all work together and ensure every lash gets coated.
Because the wand is so unique and we’re so used to using the typical straight mascara wand it could take you a while to get used to. Here is a quick photo guide for you to check out.
I found it helpful to know which way to hold the brush the first few times but now I’m used to it! I’m not the best at taking photos of my itty bitty lashes but here is a look from the weekend using the Lancôme Grandiôse mascara:
I really love how it seems to grab every single one of my lashes. I haven’t had to worry about any clumping either and because of the design of the swan like neck and bottle I don’t need to wipe any excess product off before applying.
The Lancôme Grandiôse mascara makes a great addition to the Lancôme mascara family and retails for $35.
What are your thoughts on this new mascara? Will you give it a try?
