LUSH Cosmetics on Queen Street recently hosted their ‘FUN’ event, where they launched their holiday and seasonal collections. Elaine and I were lucky enough to attend.

The Queen Street store is so nicely laid out – they definitely showcased all of their upcoming products while also putting emphasis on their tried and tested favourites.

Above, is LUSH’s Halloween Beauty Treats. Available October 13th, the above products are for bathing. Included, are the:
- Twilight Shower Gels. A lavender based shower-gel, it’s inspired by LUSH’s best selling ‘Twilight’ bath bomb. The price of the shower gel range from $9.95 for the 100ml to $27.95 for the 500ml.
- Pumpkin Soap. Is a limited edition bath soap that has both a pumpkin shape and smell. Clove, cinnamom, spearmint and pumpkin are all embodied within this soap. It’s a steal at $6.95 per bar.
- Enchanter Bath Bomb. A colour-changing bath bomb that incorporates the colours of orange and pink into your morning! Another steal, at $6.95 each.
- Green Calacas Shower Jelly. Probably the wackiest product I’ve seen! A lime scented slime that is loaded with aloe vera. Can be used frozen for a cool treat, or regularly in the shower. A bargain at $4.95.

The above are LUSH’s new innovative and unique product – appropriately called ‘FUN’. ‘FUN’ is a ‘multi-purpose, moldable soap’ that’s for your hair, body and bath. The product can be used as a bubble bath, a shampoo, and as playdoh. It’s as much fun for you as it can be for your kids.
‘FUN’ comes in five separate colours and scents, and retails for $6.95 (250g):
- YELLOW – Vanilla and Gardenina
- GREEN – Lemon and Lime
- BLUE – Lavender and Chamomile
- RED – Orange and Mandarin
- PINK – Ice Cream

The great thing about this product is that LUSH Cosmetics is making it it’s mission to spread the ‘fun’ to those children who need it the most. FunD was a project started by LUSH Cosmetics, that will put 2.5% of the global sales into said ‘foundation’. Then, the funds will be distributed to grassroots organizations in Japan – specifically those benefiting the earthquake, Tsunami and nuclear crisis relief programs.

Check out the above table of their infamous soaps! Their so bright, colourful, and cheery – and not to mention their aromas. To die for.

I also got the opportunity to play with their ‘colour wheel’. Elaine originally talked about it in this post here. You spin a wheel, immediately pick the three colours that appeal to you most, and those colours will affectively determine your makeup colours. I got two lip colours, and an eyeshadow – ‘Passionate’, ‘Charm’, and ‘Sophisticated’. The colours are supposed to be reflective of your personality at the moment, so I guess I did pretty well!

One of my favourite products was LUSH’s moustache soaps!

It seemed to be Arianne’s (The Glitter Geek’s) favourite too!

LUSH also had an entire wall of LUSH gifts – convenient and available for all your season’s parties and events. Each box contains it’s own unique gift set, as well as it’s own unique theme. Some of the themes are ‘Secret Santa’, ‘Winter Wonderland’, ‘Cool Christmas’ and ’12 Days of Christmas’. There is a gift for every single price range – from as little as $11.95 for a smaller box to $199.95 for the ultimate Christmas collection.
