Fall is a very exciting time of year in beauty as it is the time of year when many brands come out with their new innovations. I’m all for testing out different price point products; however when it comes to skin care I think if you find a product works for you then it’s worth spending the money. Here are a few luxe skin care products that are currently on my radar.
Skinceuticals Resveratrol B E ($165)
This is an antioxidant night treatment containing a powerful ingredient – Resveratrol B E. It is combined with two other active ingredients (baicalin and Vitamin E) to boost skin’s internal antioxidant defense system. The result is that it will neutralize age accelerating free radicals and allow the skin to repair signs of aging and protect against new damage.
L’Occitane Huile De Jeunesse Divine ($100)
This face oil is the latest product in L’Occitane’s Immortelle line and is made with 100% natural oils to transform your skin’s texture by making it appear more even and radiant. The star ingredient Immortelle, is a flower from Corsica and offers a unique anti-aging solution. The oil is light weight and a little goes a long way! Use it daily in lieu of or before your moisturizer.
Estee Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion (from $105)
This is an interesting product which is already quite popular in Asia. The texture of this one is like a silky toner and is meant to boost hydration levels with just a few drops. You can either apply to a cotton pad and gently apply to the skin, but since this product is on the pricier side I’d rather apply a few drops to my hands and apply directly to the face so no product is wasted.
Estee Lauder Clear Difference Advanced Blemish Serum (from $64)
One of my go to serums of late is this one that controls adult acne. If traditional acne products are too drying for you give this one a try. Just one tiny pump of this product is good enough for the whole face. Skin is not tight or dry afterwards, and in fact feels hydrated and comfortable. Follow up with your normal moisturizer and you’re good to go. I personally use this serum in the mornings when I’m not using any other acne products on my skin since my skin tends to be quite sensitive.
Do you have any go to luxe skin care products you can’t live without? Would you consider checking any of these out despite the hefty price point?
