I’m not sure if you noticed but Indigo is no longer just about books anymore. It’s really transformed into quite the lifestyle store. I was browsing the site and found so many great gifts for Mother’s Day. Here are some of my picks:
Did you know that Indigo carries accessories such as these pretty handbags? I had some trouble narrowing it down as there are so many beautiful pieces to choose from. The Kate Crossbody bag looks so stylish and practical too! I love crossbody bags – they are perfect for hands free shopping and the size looks great to fit all your essentials. For a larger bag for everyday I would pick the Bardot Tote since it can hold everything you would need to get you through the day. The Laura Clutch is great for a lovely evening out or can be used as a travel pouch to pack pretty accessories. With summer coming up this cute Colour Block Tote is pretty and would work well for picnics and the beach.
To help mom enjoy her day at home there are also great products from Indigo to help her relax. Terrariums are huge these days – probably because there are so many of us without a green thumb or because these days we are living in smaller spaces. Throw pillows with inspiring quotes are a great way to set the mood in your living room or to make an office space more cozy. Candles are always a great way to set the relaxing mood and the ones from Paddywax have such interesting scents! Allow mom to enjoy her cup of tea with a pretty little tea cup; after all “a cup of tea solves everything” right?
Of course Mother’s Days gifts from Inidigo wouldn’t really be complete without books right? There are too many to choose from and you would know the mom in your life best so I won’t get into my book picks, however to read books these days I’m huge fan of the Kobo.
I have the Kobo Touch which I LOVE but I’ve been eyeing the Kobo Aura (currently on sale!) since it gives you the ability to read at night too without disturbing others around you.
Have you been to Indigo lately? Do you have any other Mother’s Day gift suggestions from there?
