Make Up Forever is known for its High Definition line of products. I recently had the chance to try out both the MUFE HD powder and cream blushes.
The MUFE HD pressed powder is so convenient and easy to tote around for quick touch ups but I loved it best to set my makeup. It made such a difference in mattifying my shiny t-zone and felt so incredibly lightweight – I almost forgot I had applied it! I found that it also helped to blur out some of the visible pores I had on my nose and cheeks.
I actually like using a domed bronzing brush to press this powder into my skin to set my foundation. It comes in one colour which I found to work on my skin and some other ladies that I know who have tried it, however I’m not sure if it would work on darker skinned ladies. If you have darker skin and have tried this out – please let me know your thoughts!
Next up from MUFE I tried out two of their new HD blushes.
Cream blushes can be kind of intimidating since they seem really pigmented. I myself have only tried sheer cheek tints in the past so seeing these gorgeous colours did have me a little worried!
See how dark these colours look? The MUFE HD blush in #410 is actually a really pretty every day coral. #510 – a raspberry colour – is a bit more daunting however I’ve found it makes an amazing contour colour. The key is to use a VERY light hand with this blushes!
I’m actually using the MUFE double ended sculpting blush to apply these. I literally just touch the brush lightly to the blush. There is enough product on the brush for the application. To contour, I start with placing the brush to the middle of my ear and sweeping lightly inward horizontally. Just a few sweeps is all you need!
