So I did it! I wasn’t sure if I could handle it but I made it through and I’m so glad I pushed myself out of my comfort zone 🙂
The people of French Connection Canada were very accomodating and made the process very easy despite my anxieties! So thank you to ANTM Live and French Connection Canada for the opportunity 🙂
A huge thank you to Stephanie Daga for giving me the support throughout all my freakouts and for attending the event with me. She managed to snap a few photos for me while I was up on stage.
First trend was the bold lip. I forgot to take close up shots of the models but this model was sporting a bright orange lip. Jill Dunn of 29 Secrets was explaining that a bold lip of any colour is really great this season and to play around with the texture as a shiny lip may not be appropriate for the office.
My trend was the bold brow (apparently from the pictures I saw I talk with my hands a lot LOL!). I’m happy the bold brow is in this season as I’m not really one to take too much care for my brows. I have learned however that I should darken them a bit especially when I colour my hair so they remain the same colour depth and richness. The shape of the brow is super important and should frame each eye.
From my experience the easiest way to fill in or darken my brows so they stand out is by using a matte dark brown eye shadow and an angled brush using quick short strokes going the same direction as my eye brow hairs.

Also be sure to check out Michelle of Lipstick Rules. She was on stage before me at noon and it was really fun to read about her experience too 🙂
