Back when the weather wasn’t so chilly I had the chance to attend the ShopCrawl event presented by Chick Advisor and Fashion Magazine – if you didn’t attend let me tell you what you missed!
The first stop of the ShopCrawl event which was presented by Ford Fiesta was the Bata Shoe Museum where I picked up my wrist band which allowed me exclusive shopping discounts for that evening and access to the after party.
I was also given a “passport” to use while I shopped on Bloor – each participating store would stamp your passport and if you had the chance to visit all the stores you were eligible to be entered to win a prize. Sadly I wasn’t able to stop at every single store as I didn’t start the shop crawl right when it started.
My first stop was the Calvin Klein store. I love how in each store there were editor picks from both Chick Advisor and Fashion Magazine.
I can see why these pretty lacy numbers made the cut!
This tailored dress for work would also be beautiful for an office holiday party or an after work outing. Just “bling” it up with a great statement necklace. Grid patterned pants I am also seeing everyone. It’s an easy pattern to wear and you can find it in different scales.
You can’t go wrong with cute finds from
The Gap!
What did I say above about grid patterned pants? Here are more from
The Gap! I’m also loving the grey polka dot sweater. My favourite colour + polka dots? How can you go wrong?!? The editors pick was this easy to wear shirt dress. Throw on a blazer for work and a casual sweater for weekends.
H&M is always really dangerous for me – every time I walk in I know I’m bound to find SOMETHING that catches my eye.
Check out the great purse and clutch! That blazer with the faux leather sleeves? Yeah came home with me.
There was a fun Ford #fiestamoments photo station so of course I had to jump in!
You could also snap a picture with a Ford Fiesta for a chance at a prize (sadly it doesn’t seem I won!)
I wasn’t able to hang around for the after party as I was super tired from all that browsing and shopping (plus I’m a party pooper and the after party didn’t start til 9pm!) but I’m told there was a candy bar!
And here is the incredible swag that was given to each ticket holder.
The chocolate didn’t last long for me but check out all the stuff! So glad they gave out the bags at the end of the night – they were heavy! For $15 or VIP tickets at $25 to get into the after party the swag + all the discounts – it was certainly worth it don’t you think? One of my favourite mascaras (
Benefit’s They’re Real) retails for $29 alone at Sephora! Also included was stuff from Elizabeth Grant, Burt’s Bee, Clean&Clear Vera Wang, The Body Shop, John Frieda, Guess, H&M, Revlon…and so much more!
Keep your eyes peeled for the next ShopCrawl event – you definitely won’t want to miss out!
