This past week, L’Oreal Paris hosted their ‘Secret Weapons for Skincare’ event, at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in downtown Toronto. Utilizing the Bond theme that has been resurgent this month (with the release of Skyfall, and the addition of the Designing 007 exhibition at the TIFF Bell Lightbox), L’Oreal choose this opportunity to showcase their 2013 launches for skin care. Dubbed the skin’s ‘Secret Weapons’, L’Oreal is releasing two equally amazing skincare fixes for both men and women. Read more about it below!
Men: L’Oreal Paris’ First Revitalizing Serum
This light-weight serum is perfect for any man on-the-go. It’s quick, it’s easy, it fits into any busy schedule, and it’s the perfect addition to any man’s normal routine. This serum is literally SO easy and manageable, that even the most biased men can fall in love with this serum. And, if that’s not enough to capture any man’s attention, L’Oreal’s dubbed this product the ‘Viagra for Men’s Skin’. Interested?
Here are some of the benefits:
- Ultra-Fast in Lifting Skin
- Ultra-Efficient in Providing Deep Fortification
- Immediate Toning and Firming Results
- Stimulation of Cellular Regeneration
What I haven’t mentioned yet: the scent. ADORE. This product smells so darn good, I’m tempted to use it myself. I love how ultra-light this formula is, with a tiny bit of a freezing sensation that comes with the ‘firming’ territory. The smell is so masculine, without being overly powerful. Definitely check it out for your boyfriends / husbands!
Women: L’Oreal Paris Rivitalift Miracle Blur
L’Oreal Paris is the #1 anti-aging skincare line in Canada – and it’s a designation thats well deserved. Adding to their anti-aging line in 2013, is their new Miracle Blur. Miracle Blur is a imperfection eraser. Utilizing light reflecting particles to erase the look of skin imperfections, it absorbs oils, and melts into the skin. The product itself is so convertible – it can be used alone, under make-up or even over makeup as a finishing touch.
Here are some of the benefits:
- Instantly fades away fine lines, wrinkles and pores
- Reduces excess oils
- Soft matte finish
- Evens out skin tones
- Long-term anti-aging benefits
While it’s still a few months out, I’m very excited about this product. I think it can definitely be a reinvention of the anti-aging and imperfection blurring corner of the cosmetic market. It can definitely be used at any age, for any problem.
Here’s a quick snapshot of the difference between the textures. The men’s is a lighter texture, while the female’s is a heavier, dense product.
