When has L’Oreal Paris Canada’s ‘Colour Riche’ line NOT delivered?
Launching next for L’Oreal is their Colour Riche eyeshadow quads – perfectly coupled and matched for any outing! Play up the darker colours for the night, and use the softer colours for the office.
Soon to be available in over 20 exclusive colour palettes (though I am beginning to see them pop up in drugstores around town), the eyeshadows are silky smooth and apply easily to the eyes. What’s even better is that the back of the packaging has a numbering system on how to apply the colours, which is perfect if you are a little wary of application. It’s awesome that L’Oreal is providing these steps!
Luckily enough, I’ve got a preview of three of their colours! Check out the colours below.

This colour is Sultry Seductress. It’s a smoky eye colour that can definitely be played up for a dramatic look on a night out. I’m loving this colour combination – it’s dramatic and pretty for any eye colour – the purple shade will definitely make any eye colour pop.
These shades are definitely more vibrant than the picture I’ve taken suggests. The lighting has made them appear brighter, but the purple is extremely deep. This might be one of my favourite quads of the bunch.
See how deep the purple is? The bottom two colours are extremely deep in nature, while the top two colours are more muted and sheer. You’ll need more product to actually make the colour pop!

This beautiful shade is Good Luck Charm. This is my favourite of the three because it’s the most versatile. The shades can be used in the office – they are perfect pops of colour for the daytime, but muted enough to not overpower the face. The pink shade vs. the deep brown shade is definitely my favourite of the bunch.
I personally love the pink and brown shades of this quad. I think they flow so perfectly together – an amazing combination for any office environment.
The pink and white shades are very sheer in nature. It took a phenominal amount of product to even show the shades at the right! The two brown shades are perfect for any eye colour – a great neutral.

This blue quad is called Cookies and Cream. A weird name for a blue shade, but irregardless, the colours are energetic. I feel like these blue colours would pop against any eye colour – they could make already blue eyes sparkle and green eyes pop! The bottom shade in this quad has some sparkle to it, which is fabulous to jazz up any nighttime look.
These are definitely blue in nature! It can sometimes be very difficult to pull of blue eyeshadows, so you may want to start with the top two shades, and work your way up towards a smokey blue eye.
The bottom blue shade is definitely pigmented (shown on top). It can be used as an eyeliner of sorts as well, it’s that pigmented. Again, as with the other shades, it takes a large amount of product for the top two sheer shades to even show up on camera. It’s a really good starting point if you’re new to playing around with colour!

These little gold quads will retails for about $11.99 CAN in all major drugstores. A steep price, but the little quads are so versatile with their colour combinations.
