Fall is definitely here and if you’re like me you may be planning a getaway to warm place. Which means I can’t neglect warm weather grooming 😉 Keeping this in mind Sohnee just tested out a staple product – shave cream – from a not so obvious brand – eos!
*****
It has been a cold summer, but we’ve had a few warm days here and there. Fall is now here and I’m still hoping for a streak of warm weather or at least a winter getaway 😉 . It can be tough to make such a quick transition from one day to the next, but at least my skin is always ready to be bared.
You’ve probably all heard of eos because of their delicious range of lip balms. Did you know they also have a line of moisturizing shave creams? The name “eos” stands for ‘evolution of smooth’, so along with smooth lips, you can also get really smooth skin on your legs (or anywhere else!) I tried this shave cream both in the shower and “dry” (alongside my bathroom sink) and the results were the same – great moisture that let me get a close shave. That moisture stayed even after I rinsed off… and it lasted all day!
I know a lot of shave creams that do a pretty good job with moisturizing, but how many have a propellant-free pump? And how many shave creams do you know that come in a recyclable and rust-free bottle?!
They have revolutionized the packaging of shave creams, just like they did with their spherical lip balms. I also respect their ethical use of ingredients and R&D. Their key ingredients include: aloe, oat, shea butter, and vitamins E & C. They also don’t test on animals and don’t use any animal by-products.There are so many reasons to try this shave cream, but that last point is probably the most salient for me. I don’t plan on using another shave cream for a while.
eos Shave Creams are available in three fragrances: Lavender Jasmine, Pomegranate Raspberry, and Vanilla Bliss. All three can be found at Loblaw’s, Rexall, London Drug, Jean Coutu, Uniprix, and Lawtons for $3.99.
Have you tried out the eos shave cream before? What are your thoughts – would you switch over?
