So…for someone who hates Valentine’s Day I sure am obsessed with items that SCREAM Valentine’s 😉 As a blogger I get press releases all the time. Some are interesting and some aren’t even relevant. But this whole ensemble from Ted Baker London got me thinking about what I would wear IF I were going out for Valentine’s day.
I love all these Ted Baker London pieces separately. That dress would be perfect for spring and of course I could always use a light pink blazer! Would I wear them all together? Doubtful, that’s a little too much pink for me! And the more I think about it…the bows are little bit too “Hello Kitty” for me haha! But I do admit they are REALLY cute! I think I like the belt the best!
I would probably choose to wear something like this instead:
Pink lace dress (not that short though!) (Free People) white blazer (Express), pink shoes (Nine West) (nude would work too!) silver clutch (Vince Camuto) and nude lipstick (MAC). I think I wouldn’t wear too many accessories as there’s already a lot of colour and texture going on here. Or perhaps the Ted Baker London dress for the lace dress or pair the pink blazer with a cream lace dress. Hmmm….
Also, if you’re not normally a fragrance wearer what better occasion than Valentine’s? I was sent these Demeter singular scent fragrances to try out.
From left to right:
Hershey’s Kiss // Rose // Champagne Brut
I was SHOCKED they really do smell like their names! Except for the champagne brut – to me champagne just smells like alcohol and this did not! In fact it’s my favourite of the three!
So I would definitely pair the above outfit with a lovely slightly sweet scent like Champagne Brut if Valentine’s was something I did 😉
So tomorrow’s the “Big Day” – do you have the perfect outfit all picked out? Although I don’t plan on being anywhere other than my couch I’d still love to hear what everyone is wearing!
