Now here’s yet another Banana Republic collection that is speaking to me. (Gah so much pretty lace!) The Banana Republic Anna Karenina inspired collection hit stores on October 31st.
This special holiday capsule was styled and curated by Jacqueline Durran – the twice-Academy Award nominated costumer designer for the movie Anna Karenina starring the gorgeous Keira Knightly. I really need to go see this movie!
Inspired by the 19th Century fashions, the collection was reinterpreted to suit our needs today. Lace, fur and sparkle are the key elements of this collection. Here are some of my favorite looks! (Note that I tried to find links where possible – for items without links I was told that these pieces were available in certain stores only).

Crimson Cowl-back dress ($175)
Smokey Topaz Layered Bead Necklace ($55)
Silver Crystal Layered Bead Necklace ($55)
Red Woven Satin Box-Frame Clutch ($150)
Black Suede Mary Jane Pump ($128)
I know…seems like it will be hard to find.
Should be in stores already!
I am so excited for this collection – everything looks so rich and luxe! Can’t wait!

The red dress is nowhere to be seen either! I’ve checked three stores in Toronto and also on both the Canadian and US sites.
