A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of joining author Camille Knowles for the virtual introduction of two new products in her award-winning vegan, naturally derived skincare line, The Beauty of Eczema. Read on to learn more about the new launches and the principles of H.O.P.E. that guide Camille!

Camille’s journey will sound familiar to anyone with skin issues. If you have sensitive skin, you likely know first-hand how difficult it can be to find products that don’t trigger a reaction. Even products labelled “clean” or marketed for sensitive skin can contain harsh ingredients, chemical additives, or fragrances. Each of these can trigger a flare-up and consequently have a lasting impact on your physical and mental wellbeing.
When you’re struggling with skin issues as severe as Camille’s, it can be especially difficult to maintain the positive mindset you need to persevere. But while Camille fought to treat and heal her eczema, she also realized that her eczema was a superpower. It was a way for her body to help her know that something wasn’t quite right in her life: something new in her environment, a lack of sleep, or another factor was throwing her off balance and needed her attention.
The H.O.P.E. Principles
That’s why Camille developed The Beauty Of Eczema, a line of pampering skincare that focuses just as much on overall wellbeing as on products that help treat irritated, inflamed skin. The Beauty of Eczema brand is guided by key principles that create a framework for glowing skin: H.O.P.E
- Home: Create a space that nurtures your physical and mental wellbeing. Try decluttering your external environment, or calming your internal voice through meditation or other forms of self-care.
- Optimism: Fill your life with optimism and gratitude. Try using journaling or visualization to understand how your mindset impacts you.
- Purpose & Pampering: Prioritize finding meaning in your life. Camille loves vision boards that help her find direction in life. Make sure that you’re putting yourself first on your journey!
- Eating well, Exercise & Ecotherapy: Keep moving, eat healthy and nutritious meals, and spend time outdoors to care for your body and mind!
Living by these principles has led Camille and her skincare tribe – whom she lovingly refers to as her ‘angels’ – to a grounded and centred life and glowing, healthy skin.
New Products from The Beauty of Eczema
Adding to her cult favourite Calming Cream and Skin Warrior Wash, Camille is now introducing two new products to her lineup: Pamper Me Bathing Oil and Salty Soother. Both products are made in the UK with 99.9% naturally derived ingredients (the additional .1% are preservatives that keep the ingredients safe for your skin). The Beauty of Eczema products are also dermatologically tested on adults with sensitive skin and babies. Plus, they’re cruelty-free and vegan!
The Pamper Me Bathing Oil ($37.99) contains Omegas 3 & 6 and natural oils like castor, almond, and jojoba. Pour it directly into your bath to turn your water into a hydrating, milky soak. For an even more luxurious feel, apply it directly to your skin in the shower and rinse!
The Salty Soother ($25.99) bath salts contain Himalayan, dead sea and Epsom salts to cleanse, hydrate and pamper your skin. These salts are also enriched with almond oil, oat lipids and jojoba oil for additional soothing goodness. They’re incredibly fine and quickly dissolve for ultimate relaxation.
And if you’re scent sensitive, don’t fear! The Beauty of Eczema products have almost undetectable fragrances that are 100% botanically derived and allergen free. The products are clinically tested to ensure that the scents aren’t reactive (which I can personally attest to!).
With The Beauty of Eczema, Camille Knowles has created a line of products to help treat irritated skin, a set of principles to guide consumers towards a healthy and balanced lifestyle, and a community of ‘angels’ who are encouraged to embrace their skin and listen to the messages it may be sending them.
