Stylekick is a mobile app bringing the fashion community together. I recently met up with the ladies of Stylekick at Le Merceria to chat about some of my favourite winter beauty products. Check out the video below:
Products Featured:
MIYU Beauty Hydrate Mi Pairing – This hydrating beauty essence + tea are essentials to keep your skin hydrated inside and out! I carry this mist with me whenever I need some extra hydration throughout the day and this non caffeinated tea works any time of day. (Purchase here).
Benefit Cosmetics Majorette Blush – This is one of my favourite blushes for putting some life back into my cheeks! At this time of year I’m always extra pale and need some help with colour so this is the blush that I reach for.
EOS Holiday Rachel Roy Collection – We can’t forget our lips especially in this weather! My winter pick for lips is the Holiday limited edition Rachel Roy EOS lip balm in “Barbados Heat Wildberry” since it made me dream of sunnier days…sigh!
OURS by Cheryl Hickey Anything Balm – This balm lives up to its name! Intense moisture for those seriously dry patches like the elbows and knees. I love using it on my cuticles. It’s also safe for the whole family!
Flower Beauty Highlighter – This is a great product to add some “artificial” glow to your skin. Add to the tops of your cheekbones for a subtle effect. (Purchase at Walmart).
Dot & Lil Rice Flower Oil Perfume – One of my all time favourites that I featured early this year. I always get compliments every time I wear this scent. For me this is a Winter beauty pick because it lifts my mood which is a necessity in this often gloomy weather. (purchase here).
Flower Beauty Lip Butter – I’m currently loving this lip butter for its moisturizing properties and the pretty pigment it gives my pout. It’s perfect for giving lips some natural colour and sheen. (Purchase at Walmart)
My Burberry Perfume by Burberry – This is my “night time” / “special occasion” perfume of the moment. It’s not too strong and just has a sexy scent to it. I can’t help but love the bottle too – the classic Burberry trench is the inspiration with the button inspired top and the bow in the same material as the classic trench.
Pelle Beauty Stellar Face Oil – This is one of my favourite face oils. It’s very lightweight and smells amazing! Add this to your skincare routine by applying a few drops to your skin after cleansing and before moisturizing. (Purchase here).
Nudestix Concealer – This soft and creamy concealer is great for hiding under eye circles and other imperfections. Even if you’re not feeling awake in the winter months you’ll look it! (Purchase at Sephora).
YSL Touche Éclat – This is the secret weapon for so many makeup artists and beauty buffs. Use this anywhere you want to reflect light naturally. Under the eyes after concealer, on the cheek bones, down the centre of your nose, at your cupid’s bow and around your lips. It will brighten your entire face leaving you with a pretty winter glow! (Purchase from The Bay).
Products also included in my picks but not featured:
Province Apothecary Regenerating + Stimulating Exfoliator – Dry flaky skin is likely unavoidable with the dry Winters we have in Toronto. This product is great as it has multiple uses and will help keep skin glowing throughout the cold months. (Purchase and book your service here).
Aveeno Skin Relief Hand Cream – This is one of my favourite hand creams and I carry it with me in my purse to relieve dry and cracked skin wherever I go. It moisturizes and absorbs quickly without that greasy feeling. It simple and truly works!
Marc Anthony Curl Cream – This is my must have product for taming frizzies in the Winter. Many think that’s it’s the humidity that’s the enemy of curly haired girls but often is the dryness and constant removing and wearing of hats and scarves. Just a little bit goes a long way and keeps me looking put together!

Nivea In Shower Body Milk – This product is coming soon to Canada (January 2015!) and you’ll want to pick this up! Not only does it moisturize your skin but it saves you time. Use right in the shower as your last step – rinse off then towel dry and you’re good to go – no need to add another moisturizer!
There you have it – all the Winter beauty picks that I shared with Stylekick. I’d love to know yours!
